WMD
EAMS held their World Marathon Day (26.02) runs on Saturday comprising a full & half marathon and 10k. Andrew McDermott came 7th in the full marathon in a time of 3 hrs 44.39 seconds- well done Andrew
Brighton Half Marathon
Sunday saw the Brighton half marathon around the streets of the seaside town. A very sunny but also very windy day with the last 5k all into the wind. Kathy Mayhew was the lone Dub who finished in 2hrs and 28 seconds in 3570 place out of 6420 finishers. Very well done Kathy on your run.
And finally: Cinema Coffee 10K Grand Prix series in association with Championchip Ireland
Northern Ireland’s leading series of 10km running races is back after a three-year hiatus, sponsored by fast-growing coffee brand Cinema Coffee. This year’s series features an enhanced £10,000 prize fund this year for individuals and teams, beginning with Jimmy’s 10K on 13th March and concluding at the Seeley Cup 10K in December.
